How to Cite a Journal Article

Surname, Name, “Title of the article,” in: Title of the journal year number, year, pp. page numbers–page numbers
p.= for one page, pp. = for more pages

Example:

Cormack, Peter, “A Truly British Movement,” in: Apollo 161, 2005, pp. 4854

Do not use abbreviations for journals. Attention: It is “The Art Bulletin” and “The Burlington Magazine” (with article). Search for the correct title in the journals themselves, not in library catalogs.
Do not number the titles consecutively.
