Introduction to Urban Housing in Taipei from the 1950s to the Early 1980s
Dr. Lin Jin-Ann, architect and architectural historian, will offer an insight into the topic of collective housing in Taipei City after the Second World War. She will talk about the famous Taipei Walkups in the city center but include also further architectural types, such as Tower/Block condos (住宅大樓) and apartment mansions (華廈).

Dr. Lin Jin-Ann earned her PhD from NTU (Graduate Institute of Building and Planning). In 2018, she published a book on the Taipei Walkups (台北步登公寓). Board Member of WAT, Women in Architecture Taiwan.
