2022-09-16 Artist Talk: Kees Goudzwaard’s Solo Exhibition “In Progress”

Professor Syndikus invites all to visit the Netherlandish artist, Kees Goudzwaard’s solo exhibition, “In Progress” together at 5 p.m this Friday, September 16th at Nunu Fine Art. The artist will be at the gallery and talk about his works!

Goudzwaard is an established artist in the Netherlands, and his works are in the collections of the museums in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany. For more than twenty years, Goudzwaard follows a unique creative system: he uses tapes, color papers and acetate sheets to make collages and transfer the compositions onto the canvases with paint. At first sight, the audience would be deceived by the trompe l’oeil and mistake the paintings to be made up of actual papers and tapes. Goudzwaard’s art is both representational and abstract.

The solo exhibition has opened on Sept. 11th and Goudzwaard come Taiwan to interact with the audience. Goudzwaard is looking forward to talking to the students of the Art History Institute at NTNU.
